Most electric bikes are too heavy and large to be able to be transported on a car's roof or boot. This means that the most suitable way to carry an e-bike is with a tow bar mounted bike rack such as the Thule EasyFold 3 and VeloSpace XT which are both able to accommodate the greater weight and dimensions of e-bikes. Each of the Thule carriers shown below can safely transport both electric bikes and standard non e-powered cycles.
