Thule EuroClassic

The Thule EuroClassic series are secure tow ball mounted bike carriers for transporting your bikes with ease and security. This type of bike carrier can be a great alternative to car roof mounted fitting. Depending on the weight of your bikes it can sometimes be hard to lift up and fit on to the height of the car roof, there might be some wind noise and you might suffer a slight increase in fuel consumption. Therefore fitting a tow bar mounted bike rack, such as the Thule EuroClassic, will in many respects be a great advantage over other methods.

Thule EuroClassic

The new Thule EuroClassic G6 incorporates the latest LED lighting without the need of changing anything on your car, the bright LED lights will make your bike carrier highly visible adding greatly to safety, especially on motorways. If your tow bar electrics is fitted with a 13 pin socket you will also benefit from the integrated fog light.

To use a EuroClassic it is a quick and simple operation that just needs the carrier to be placed on to the tow ball and attached in 3 simple steps and your ready with your bikes loaded in mere minutes.

Once loaded, the bike carrier can be tilted forward with the bikes attached for easy access to the tailgate or boot lid, by simply pressing a lever system with your foot.

Thule EuroClassic

The EuroClassic comes in two models both of which are capable of adding an additional adapter converting the Thule 928 from a 2 bike to a 3 bike carrier, and the Thule 929 from a 3 to a 4 bike carrier. The advantage of this is that even if the extra bike capacity is not currently required it might be in the future. There is also an adapter available to allow it to be fitted to 4x4 vehicles where the spare tyre is mounted on the outside of the tailgate.

Security of the bikes and the carrier is one of the biggest features of the EuroClassic since it locks the bikes to the carrier and the carrier to the tow ball. Individual locking knobs are attached to each arm that connects to the bike. So if you are carrying three bikes for instance you get three locks and a separate lock to lock the carrier to the car's tow ball. All of these locks are suited with the same key number so like a car one key fits all locking points.

A great advantage with the optional 9152 Load Ramp is to make loading and offloading your bikes hassle free. No more lifting of heavy bikes simply push your bike into position on the carrier.

The unit folds into a smaller size for easy storage and taking advantage of our accessory Wall Hanger 9771 you can store it against the garage wall out of your way.

You can mount any type of bike, even bikes with non-standard frames by using the optional 982 accessory which connects between the saddle post and handlebar stem thus giving a temporary cross bar.
