The Thule 9394 spare wheel adapter for Thule VeloSpace XT 3 makes it possible to fit a tow ball mounted bike carrier to 4x4 type vehicles with the spare wheel mounted on the rear door. You will lose one bike space with the adapter in position.
Land Rover Defender (new) 2020 + with spare wheel
The Thule VeloSpace XT 3 939 with Spare Wheel Adapter 9394 is the only tow ball mounted cycle carrier compatible with the New Land Rover Defender. The trunk needs to be in the open position and the carrier fully tilted during installation.
