Thule Chariot Cross adapters / Thru-axle adapters
To be able to determine which Thule thru-axle adapter is required for your bike, you will first have to unscrew and remove your existing thru-axle. You will then need to identify the following dimensions as shown on the diagrams below:
1. The make of your thru-axle eg. Syntace, Maxle, Shimano
2. The diameter of the axle shaft (Please note that Thule thru-axle adapters are only available for 12 mm axles)
3. The length of the axle shaft including the thread but excluding the bolt head (fig.1)
4. The shape of the bolt head eg. straight (flat) or coned (fig.4)
5. The thread pitch eg. fine: 1.0 mm, medium: 1.5 mm, coarse: 1.75 mm (fig.5) - see more information
With the above information and comparing the shaft length of your existing thru-axle with the lengths shown in the min-max column below, you should be able to easily identify the correct adapter for your bike. Please note: Spacers are included with the thru-axle adaptors for the smaller shaft lengths. Please follow the instructions that are supplied with the adapters to select the corrrect spacer.
