The Thule 993 OutWay Platform 2 rear mounted bike carrier fits straight to the boot or tailgate of a multitude of cars, hatchbacks and SUV etc., including many that have spoilers, most of which have previously not been possible to fit in the majority of cases. Although the OutWay Platform is fully compatible with most vehicles, there are still just a few that it is not possible to fit a rear mounted carrier to. So please use our rear mounted bike rack guide to check the suitabilty of this product with your vehicle. 

Useful tips from roofracks.co.uk:  "To avoid any risk of scratching, we recommend cleaning the car at the attachment points prior to fitting the carrier.  It is always best to mount the heaviest bike closest to the car"
