The Thule 9241 spare wheel adapter for Thule VeloCompact makes it possible to fit a tow ball mounted bike carrier to 4x4 type vehicles with the spare wheel mounted on the rear door. You will lose one bike space with the adapter in position.

Due to the limited space above the tow ball, the Thule VeloCompact 2 and VeloCompact 3 are not compatible with the New Land Rover Defender 2020 +. Please view the Thule VeloSpace XT 3 939 with Spare Wheel Adapter 9394 as this is the only cycle carrier that is compatible.
