Special protection adapters for mountain and road bike wheels. Placed between the strap and the rim, the 9772 adapter, helps protect the rims from scratching. Using these adapters, a noticable improvement in wheel stability will be found when transporting road bikes.

Recommended for use with all roof mounted bike racks, tow-bar mounted bike racks and rear mounted bike racks where a wheel strap is used to secure the wheel.
